April Character Ed Winners

Each Month our students focus on a different character trait that makes a World Changer. This month, our students learned about what strength looks and sounds like. Take a look at what this trait means to them.

A Message from the Principal, Mrs. Bialkowski
Spring has sprung here on campus, and we are all eager to embrace this beautiful weather!  April’s Character Trait is “Strong” and we have spent the month during assemblies and classroom meetings discussing the importance of “Finishing Strong” as a Charger.  With testing season upon us, we have showcased 3 goals to help support students not only on their end of year assessments, but in class in general:

“Be focused, put forth your best effort, show pride in what you do, and you will finish the school year STRONG!”  Ask your Charger how he or she is going to finish Strong!

Spring also means spring activities including clubs and field trips! Our 2nd and 3rd graders had a fantastic experience at Howard Christensen Nature Center, exploring trails and learning all about the Vernal Pools and how many animals use those small bodies of temporary water to lay eggs. Girls and Boys Charging Forward have been diligently practicing to get prepared for the 5K on May 5th, and everyone had a great time at our school carnival on May 3rd (photos to come).

A Message from the Principal, Mr. Zuver

April has been an incredibly busy month here at CTA!  We began with Spring Break (which was welcomed by many) and then immediately hit the ground running when we returned.  That first week back was highlighted by the high-stakes testing we do, most notably, our Juniors taking the SAT.  All of the testing came off without a hitch thanks to our incredible staff and the diligence of our students to try their best on all of the testing dates.  Not only have our students taken the SAT, they also take M-STEP, Work Keys, and the P-SAT.

With testing mostly behind us we are looking forward to the sprint to the finish of the year.  Our Seniors will be presenting their Senior Projects the final week in April, they have put so much time and energy into these, they promise to be amazing.

Our Seniors last day at school is Friday, May 9th, there will be plenty of celebrations as we move towards that day.  Our traditional Moving Up Ceremony will take place that Friday, as well as our Seniors taking a group trip to Craig’s Cruisers thanks to our Parent Group.

Thank you to all of our students in the CTA Class of 2025.  They have experienced transitions and have been extremely positive throughout their journey.  We always talk about legacy and how important that is, the Class of 2025 will be leaving a legacy here of kindness and achievement.  Best of luck to all of them as we move forward towards Commencement on Friday, May 16th.

Well done Class of 2025, congratulations!
