A Message from the Principal, Mrs. Bialkowski
What a wonderfully celebratory end to another great year being Chargers! May was jam packed with so many ceremonious moments, from Move Up day to the 5th Grade picnic, our staff and families were able to come together and truly honor the growth and work of all of our students. These traditions are so important to the Charger experience. Young elementary students getting to see 5th graders moving onto Middle School and Seniors in their cap and gowns provides tangible clarity of these special accomplishments in the journeys of our world changers.
We also had a lot of FUN celebrating all of the hard work our Chargers have done this school year. Field day was a huge success for the students and a wonderful example of student leadership with the high school volunteers supporting Mrs. Perry’s fantastic planning and prep. Elementary students had the chance to go off campus on field trips to places like Grand Rapids Public Museum, Howard Christensen Nature Center, City Impact and Frederik Meijer Gardens.
The teaching staff surprised the students by dressing up in inflatables and racing the playground to celebrate all of the great work and effort put forth during spring testing. We also hosted our annual Boys and Girls Charging Forward 5K, several fun school day activities including water play days & ice cream socials - and our Family Engagement Committee put on another wonderful Spring Carnival.
As we move into summer, I get the privilege of walking the quiet campus and reflecting on the work we have done, the achievements YOUR children have made and the incredible work done by our educators. I am so grateful to serve this community and I hope you all have a wonderful, restful summer. See you in the fall!

Bike, Roll, and Walk To School Day
A Message from the Principal, Mr. Zuver
Both our High School and Middle Schools wrapped up incredible years at the end of May. The entire month of May was filled with celebrations that included Moving Up Day, 8th Grade Promotion Day, our Student Cookout, and the Grand Finale for our Seniors, Commencement.
The Commencement ceremony was fantastic. Dr. Bill Pink, the President at Ferris State University was our Key Note Speaker and he shared many personal stories about leadership and finding yourself. All of our graduating Seniors looked amazing and did a wonderful job on the stage. Our Valedictorian and Sautatorian, Sage Sidlauskas and Alexxander Toth both spoke eloquently about their experiences and what to look forward to as the Class of 2025 moves forward from CTA.
We want to extend a tremendous “THANK YOU” to not only all of our graduates but to all of their families as well. This moment would not have been possible without their support and encouragement over all of these years.
We are excited to welcome our new Middle School students who are coming from the Elementary building as well as welcoming our new High School students transitioning from the Middle School. Each building will be better with the additions of our new students. We are also looking to add new members to the CTA Family at all of our grade levels, it is going to be an amazing year.
We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and is ready to come back recharged and ready to go in August.
Go Chargers!
