Every year, students around the world participate in Global School Play Day:
“During Global School Play of Day, participants are encouraged to allow students ample time for free play without the use of screens, structured games, or adult direction. The idea is to let children explore their creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interactions in an unstructured and spontaneous environment.”
Our Chargers participated in several games and activities throughout the day, including outdoor and indoor games, sensory stations, building blocks and group games. It was a fantastic experience for everyone!
On Tuesday, February 13th, our Kindergarten and 5th grade students visited North Kent Connect Service Center. Students brought along food donations for the pantry and also got a tour of the facilities, including the pantry, storefront and storage/sorting space, to see how NKC helps local families in a variety of ways. We love modeling what it means to be a World Changer, and also learning the impact of small gestures, volunteering and generosity!
